SAEYANG collects and uses personal information as described below to provide membership services.
Purposes of collection and use
Account registration and member identification; login and account administration; changes to account information; membership grade and benefit administration; and handling inquiries related to membership services.
Information collected and used
Login ID, name, email address, and password.
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not in their original form. To administer consent records, we also record the version of the document accepted, whether consent was given, the date and time of consent, and the connecting IP address.
Retention and use period
The information is retained and used until membership withdrawal or withdrawal of consent to the collection and use of personal information. It is destroyed without delay when the processing purpose has been fulfilled. Account identifiers, saved addresses, consent records, and authentication information in the service database are removed when withdrawal is processed. Information remaining in disaster-recovery backups is access-restricted and rotated out within a maximum of seven days. If a backup is restored, withdrawal records are reapplied before service resumes. If other laws require certain information to be retained, the information, legal basis, and retention period will be separately disclosed, and that information will be stored separately from other member information.
Right to refuse and consequences
You may refuse to consent to the collection and use described above. If you refuse, you cannot create an account or use services that require login, but you may still view public products, notices, and other guest-accessible content.
Withdrawal of consent and changes to information
You can change your account information or request membership withdrawal from My Account. Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information may be submitted through the customer-support contact shown in the site footer.
Logs used to prevent account takeover and unauthorized access during login and account-recovery attempts—including a hash of the account identifier entered, IP address, request type, and timestamp—are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted. Logs linked to the account identifier are removed when membership is withdrawn.
